What will it really matter, or change? Colt hasn't been Colt for a long time. They bought a name.

Given the quality of the CZ's that I have owned, it should at least be a step forward. Maybe we can see more Colts in the dealer shelves. james

Nice thing is, the Czechs make very fine firearms.

It will be interesting to see if they keep the Dan Wesson line of 1911's or if they will put them all under Colt.

i bought my cz lcp in 9 mil used. have put over four hundred rds through it. not a hiccup one. If i had the money i would have bought the cz shadow. shot one one time at shooting range . the stall over had one and offered to let me shoot it. sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttttttttttttttttttt. i normally shoot left on my targets with any gun i shoot, but that puppy was hitting center. :D

CZ will have an AR line now. I'm sure they will improve the quality and let the production staff know they can move the plant to somewhere it will improve if they can't.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.
