Just an idea - we use an oil filled electric heater in our wellhouse. It is thermostatically controlled and keeps the temp just right. What I really like about it is if there is a power outage, the built in oil heat keeps it warm for a good long time. I feel your pain though. It is a bunch of nonsen...

I had an 1886 Extra light Miroku rifle that was excellent, but then I stumbled into an 1886 Miroku with the octagon barrel and curved butt stock so I sold the extra light. Both were/are awesome rifles. I had a Marlin 45-70 in the past, but it never really thrilled me like the 86s.

I have two suppressors sitting in the dealers safe waiting for their tax stamps. Bought them on black friday. Neither are the same as the one you have but hopefully they are solid. The wait to buy something to screw on the front of a barrel is outrageous.
