Boy there is a lot of data measured by Quickload! Too much in my book. I can get the pressures to match my pressures but I mainly have to tweek the H2O and initial powder burn settings. So basically in order to get QL to work "properly" you still need an accurate, actual pressure tested, ...

I decided to install the new-to-me mounts. I bit easier to adjust while shooting. Gonna take some time to get used to everything again!

No, that is my post. John sent me the bullet (and others) and requested me test it with that powder and charge in the ballistics gel. It performed as expected.

That's very useful expansion over 36 grains of Swiss FFg. The late Mike Venturino and others have mentioned the thinner case neck on the .44 WCF vs the .44 Magnum as being more delicate. I have not yet loaded enough of the former to have any issues with the brass, but have used mostly Starline. Yes...

I think the difference would be more noticeable using expanding jacketed bullets. I agree the 44-40 is under appreciated, but implying it is just as good maybe counter productive. Thanks. I just edited the music to better fit the timeline/ending and allowed original sound as well.....a mix I guess it's called.
My plan is to keep the videos short, under 8 minutes, to keep out advertisements. I am not looking for long videos to make money.

Here is an interesting photo showing the up to 300 yard Third Class target. The target in this photo was used at 200 yards. There is no way I can hold or see steady enough now days to hit this thing off hand....with open or peep sights!!

From the previously posted photos, I am using an older circular clickless dial mount. This 32 click mount works well for me but I can barely get to 300 yards with the 1,350fps loads. Standard sscope base spacing is 7.2" for 1/4" clicks, or 10.5 for 1/8" click adjustments. Anything else will work, but you need to learn what your spacing does for your rifle and mounts. I've never owned a Hi Lux Malcolm so not sure if their scope mount adheres to what all other targ...

Been making some headway with the scope settings. Takes lots of ammo to sight in this shotgun!!! Got the decals updated to 200 yards, but got the numbers on upside down on the windage dial Duh!
