They're cheap enough new that selling one used wont get the seller much money. I've had the same Tasco red dot scope on my Hi Standard match pistol for 30 years now and it was well under $100 back then. It's never given me an ounce of trouble. Not sure if you're looking for a red dot "scope" or one...

Mine is fun, and it was really just an 'extra' barrel/spring along with a Rock Island Armory double-stack 9mm 1911 I got. DO clean it; when mine gets dirty extraction can be iffy. It is a great low-recoil, but loud-noise, way to introduce people to the 1911. ... and it WILL detonate Tannerite .... ...

yep. you have to, or something else, has to pull the trigger to make gun go boom. I trust my glock better then any other handguns i own against accidental firing. Just my 2 cents worth.
