I have a Kimber Custom. I love it. It shoots better than I ever will able to do. After about 10 years, it has never missed a beat. It loves Golden Sabre's, 230 gr, very tight groups. If they all had to go, this one would be the last!! Art

1. I like it with butter and sometimes a very good fruit preserve.

2. I eat it plain for breakfast, with pinto beans, with red beans and rice, and always with chili!!!!!

I would run and grab that .444 Marlin, and never look back. This is a cartridge that you can do a lot with, even load it with black powder if you wish. There are mild loads and there are rip-snorting loads. I know you will like it. I have had 5 or 6 and would buy one today!!! Art

I think you made a great eal on your rifle!! You will never lose money on that one. The .44 Special is one of my favorite cartridges. It will still kill a deer, in factory form, but I would limit the range to 50 or 60 Yards. Good luck, and a picture please!! Art

In your particular rifle and with your chosen load, you need to fire 5 rounds, before you take it hunting.I have been a target shooter all my life, and use Remington Teflon.
