If you are fixated in .30 caliber, you are alreadyt lost. Good luck. Ouch :p But that said, I'll at least tell you why I'm going in that direction. First I started at the 7mm Mag, reading up on it . Remington Magnum is especially popular for Western plains use in the United States, as well as for u...

I'm considering a precision bolt action rifle in my future and am still on the short end of the learning curve when it comes to the ideal caliber for this application. What's worse is that everybody has their own opinion on what that caliber should be so I'll ask the forum I trust on the matter. Thi...

My 444 Marlin worked very well with the little 2.5X Leupold Ultralite scope. A very nice unit and outstading eye relief. It fit the 336 style action with the Weaver mount. The long eye relief helped with fitting as the scope was placed well forward to many. I know money doesn't lie, but yer killin ...

So I have this Mossberg 464 I would like to put some modest optics on... Modest as in I simply don't have the money to spend an amr or a leg on. I picked up Rossi 32 in .357 magnum recently and it will not feed the Hornady XTP or any 357 round for that matter. It is an older Interarms Rossi. The round hits the top of the chamber before it rises in the rear enough to slide in. This looked like a problem for the earlier owner as it looks like...
