My dad has had a 6" Rapala since at least the 70s. It's the only filet knife I've ever used and I need to get one of my own. I think they are still made in Scandanavia.

I've got three Beckers, they are great knives for the money.

I was in the local Wal-mart (SW Ohio) this morning. There were 6 100rd boxes of 9mm ball, one 50rd box, and some 40. I was able to get 3 of the 100 rd boxes.

I've also had issues with Remington centerfire pistol ammo and rifle primers, as well as their rimfire.BlaineG wrote: If only that were Federal....I've never had good luck with Remington rimfire reliability....

My grandpa had one in 22 Hornet; he'd made a new buttstock on it and put on a lever from a No. 1. I wish I knew what happened to it.

I have XS on one 10/22 and they are pretty rugged. I've used the Williams products on Ruger Mini 30s and didn't feel they were very sturdy.
The Tech sight looks good and I have a set on the bench but haven't got around to installation yet.

9mm, good 124/127 HP, preferably +P. Sometimes I carry a .40 (issue) or .45 pistol, but with the 9mm ammo I have, it suits me. 38 Spl, 158 gr Lead hollowpoint +P, or 135 gr. Gold Dot. I used a Lee Loader to load 38 Spl. level loads in 357 cases for my 6" Security Six back in 86/87 or so in my off campus apartment.

I used a Workmate set up before I bought the house I'm in now. Once I made a 2'x2' loading bench and kept it in a big closet in an apartment but I only loaded pistol ammo on that one with a Lee Turret press.

I had a pair of Acadia's resoled a couple years ago, it was around $90. I don't think $150 for a foreign made boot will get you as good a boot as the Danner. All I asked (and paid) for was the new soles; they came back looking like new and I wore them several years on police patrol.

My first handgun was just like yours Pitchy except in stainless steel. I bought it in 86 after turning 21 and still have it but haven't shot it in a while. Believe I'll get it out soon. I've got a 22/45 that I've been shooting a lot more lately.

I have a Maytag washer that my grandparents bought new in the mid 70s. Couple years ago the tub had some holes in it from rust, patched them with JB and, so far, so good.

Last year I bought a pair of Schnee's hunting boots with Thinsulate/felt liners. I've used them on stands with good results. They fit well so far for the walking I've done.

I've been to Vinton Co. a couple times sort of hunting for them but no luck. Last winter a forest ranger said none had been spotted in the Zaleski forest in over a year. However, we were there last month and some other hunters said they are out there and gave us a better idea where to hunt.

I have a Dillon 550 mostly for 45 ACP, with conversion kits for 9mm, 40S&W, 38/357. I have a Redding T7 for rifle loads but haven't used it much yet. I used to use a Rockchucker for the rifle loads. I also have a C-H Tool & Die, I think it's a 444 Pistol Champ that I use for 357 and 44 Magnu...

I've got an 870 at home; I had a gunsmith cut a 28" vent rib barrel to about 19" and re-thread it for Remchokes. There's also a large fiber optic bead on it and a Sure-fire light. I also took about an inch off the buttstock.
