Post by Pisgah »

Word is out that Levon Helm is in the last stage of his longterm battle with cancer.

Enjoy, and say a prayer for Levon and family...

His talent will be missed. But, oh the joy of knowing you'll live on nearly forever. :) Here and there both

Probably my favorite musician of all time. Awful shame, a truly talented man.

I thought he was great in "Shooter."

I can still hear him saying "I still got the shovel."

I really enjoyed Levon in two movies: Mr. Rate in "Shooter" and as Leo Pickett in the 1987 movie "End of the Line" with Wilford Brimley.
