I would also throw in the thought that traditionly the people that arent armed and dont like guns are usually liberal demicrats and its also a ploy to get votes from the uneducated group. And as far as the goverment haveing all kinds of firepower and nukes anyway, these people still are exposed walk...

I was lucky. Dad was a hunter and liked guns. Dad died in 2003 a couple months short of 90. He shot a nice buck at 87 or 88. Dad was a avid hunter and fisherman. I want this one back! It is a .45 colt new frontier serial #5355NF. I bought it back in about 1974 for $250. I have 4 colt saa,s. My last one is a 3rd gen .45 colt. It also came with the unremoveable bushing. I bought the gun used but looked unfired quite awhile ago. Last year I sent it back to colt complaining about sloppy chambers. They sent me back the gun with a new clyinder with the removeable bushing...

This one is in .30 army (30/40). It was built right near the end of production in 1931. I bought it sans rear sight. A friend gave me the old winder? sighr and was able to fit it without drilling. I have the handguard for it, but it wont fit over the longer sight. I reload for it and it is accuarate...
