I was lucky. Dad was a hunter and liked guns. Dad died in 2003 a couple months short of 90. He shot a nice buck at 87 or 88. Dad was a avid hunter and fisherman. He had 6 older half sisters and brothers. His dads 1st wife died young and he married my grandmother and dad is the oldest of 10 more! All...

God makes the rules, not us! There is plenty in the bible about heaven, hell and salvation. What about the rich man in hell wanting god to send poor lazurus to dip his hand in water and cool his tounge? And then asking god to send the word to his brothers so they might change their ways and not come...

I had a favorite uncle that was very close to me. We lived together several times. He was a highly decorated world war 2 vet, 82nd AB, gliders etc, bunch of bronze siver star, 2 purple hearts. He came home screwed up, stayed single and was a hell raiser. About 1972 he had a heart attack and had open...

I would be looking at fine used guns. I would look at a 4" s&w model 19, old colt trooper or python. I had to pack them over 35 years, and light is better. There is a lot of them out there and most are good, you really are nitpicking any small differences. I have a extendsive collection, pe...

The beauty of the .44 special is the guns made for it. In S&W the .44 spec most models made for it have the pencil or tapered barrels. In .44 mag or .45 colt they have the straight heavy weight barrels. The mountain guns are the exception. But in the mountain guns except for possibly a few very ...

I must like .44 specials. Here is my family of 6. I also have some .45 colts. It seems the bore sizes in colt saa,s in 45 run all over the place also in clinder bores. The extra wall thickness on .44 special lets you develop as hot if not hotter loads in the colts, and in smith & wesson guns .44...
