We will be at SHOT, doing our daily reviews every evening starting on the 18th with stuff we see at the media shoots. Have five different shoots to attend that day, and two parties on the night of the 18th. After that, the other days will not be as hectic.

Thanks Jeff! Now, would you do me a favor and low-crawl through the mud in an attempt to get gunk in the ejection port? That'a about the ONLY concern I've had (other than no $$$) with this design. Re: 8 shot 22 magnum rimfire revolver

All Mark IV s were .22 magnum. The .22 LR was called the mark I. These guns had steel frames, and were offered with 2,3 or 4 inch barrels, and a Sport model had a 6 inch barrel. The grips on the one pictured are not standard, thankfully. The Mark IV had smooth walnut, grips. There are 9 chambers. I ...

Jeff Quinn, That Mark IV is a sweetheart, is'nt it? I love it. Nice blued finish, walnut grips. I don't know why someone does not do that now. The double-actions currently built have hammers that are too lightweight, and therefore have to have heavier springs. A heavier hammer would allow the Tauru...

That's a good one. But, why add the Redfield line to their existing, and, to me, seemingly crowded, product line? If hitting a lower price point was the objective, what is the purpose of the Rifleman? This gives them a lower-priced scope than the Rifleman line, without cheapening the Leupold brand....

It's good to see Redfield back but I'm a little confused as to what Leupold's strategy is here. In the moderate to low end of their product line, they now have VX-3, VX-2, VX-1, Rifleman, and, now, Redfield. What are they trying to accomplish? FMJ 5.56mm bullets have an exposed lead base.
