I recently got a very stuck and very pesky screw to budge using a foaming product called Gibbs. I have used this product to clean and lubricate gun bores before - in fact that is why I bought it. I'm sure you know this, but keep it well away from the wood grips.

Very, very cool Jay! I am definitely going to look into Kirst Kinverter cylinders. I also have an 1860 that does not get near enough use due to it being black powder. So, I have a Dragoon (Third Model) and an 1860 that are both candidates.

Black Rock Leather 'N Rich for heavy duty protection. But it will darken light colored leather. When darkening is not desired, Cadillac Shoe and Boot Leather Lotion. Not the same level of protection as Black Rock, but it really cleans and gives the leather a great feel.
