so just seen an old Winchester mod 12 in a museum
it had a hand guard over the barrel
what looked to be about an 18inch barrel with bayonet lug
looked like a fine shotgun has anyone used one what is your opinion of it

it dose not really worry me if i have a sling or not i do use them to shot quite often on bolt guns as for deploying your weapon when something nasty is wants you you'd be surprised how fast you can get that dam thing off your shoulder when you need to (but if im somewhere i think i need it it alrea...

thanks for the info it has been very helpful sounds like oldmate on the net was just sooking about a minor fault
so there is no particular problem with this model just the odd fault like any other weapon

got a question about the Marlin 444s(made in 1979) has anyone herd of feeding problems with this
particular model ??? there is one for sale over here and I was looking for a good pre safety 45/70 and found this

2.5" inch group is all you need for a hunting rifle 1" is better
most battle rifles(sks slr min30/14) wont shoot under 2" at 100yds without tuning and do just fine

i agree the BL-22 are very nice rifle very good fit and finish pleasure to shoot
i would like one my self you do see them for sale over here but thay dont sit on the shelf long

yep the only way to play golf..........oh there is sniper golf to use a rifle instead of shoty and shoot the ball on the ground
its a lot of fun
