I have one in 308, slick, but the trigger was was looooonnngggg. I like a light trigger pull. I did have my gunsmith work on it and he made it much better just a smidge over 3lbs now. It does not like the heavier bullets in 308 but I do, so we don't get out much together. Never had any problems than...

I asked this similar question a few years back. The wildcat you are thinking about be roughly the same as 356win, maybe bit less velocity. I played around on QuickLoad with it, but forget the ballistics. Could convert 356 neck down to 348 but have same barrel/reamer issue. I then discussed with Noon...

Have opportunity for a Sako L61R 300 win mag. Have not laid eyes on it yet, might be a "deluxe" model,
If in good condition a might consider it, for the right price.
Any opinions on them?
I have a Sako Forester in .243 that I like very much, figured the L61R would be similar.

I have been eyeballing the ravins, have a ten point and I have to shoot at the different circles on target or will hit the bolt already in there. I was shocked at the accuracy of the thing. I like the ravins as they are a bit narrower than even the ten point and more balanced, maybe little lighter.
