Marbles Tang Sight Questions

A while back I got an old Win 1894 with a tang sight on it. I don't care much for shooting with the tang sight so I took it off. I don't think it is an old sight. The gun was made 1908 but I think this sight is much newer; maybe even recent production. I don't know how to tell. Part of the sight loo...

I think this is a very good idea, too. I read about this a while back and it seems to have originated in Canada by wives of Canadian servicemen in
Afghaninstan. Wherever it started, it's a great idea.

Nuge for president? I read an article a while back about him that said he dodged military service by putting on a crazy act and crapped and upset his pants for a week before reporting for his military physical. They deemed him unfit for service. Here's an excerpt.... [b][i]He claims that 30 days bef...

If the seller's not going to make good and you're done pursuing him, then: I'd say either use it as is and be happy with it or sell if for what it will bring. On a 94 like this, I don't think you can make it worth more than the cost of the repair. I mean, if the gun's worth $700 now and it costs $30...

I looked at the auction too.......convenient how he left out a picture of the upper tang in all those photos. Seems pretty likely to me that he knew the gun wasn't right when he sold it. If he doesn't make right, let him know you'll be posting his name on line and then email him the link to the post...

I think it's kind of funny that all my rancher/farmer friends talk about giving it up for a better life with a 9-5 job and most of my non-rancher/farmer friends dream of owning a ranch/farm. I think the grass is always a little greener on the other side of the fence. But, I think you should do what ...

That does it for me. Where do I send the check?

There was a 358 on Gunbroker a while back that had a cut barrel and missing the magazine. It had a pad added and the wood was in worn condition. It sold for about $1250. Looks like any 88 in 358 is worth serious money now.

The condition on this gun is like new in the box. It comes with snap caps and full & modified choke tubes. It also has an extra (3rd) modified tube so you can shoot modified in both barrels.

Hi Mike
Have you had decent luck in getting Salter to come down in price? I tried a few times several years ago and he was rock solid on the pricing. Maybe it was the guns I asked him about....
