I haven't been there in a long while because most anything I would buy off his site I can probably get $100 or more cheaper somewhere else.

But, occasionally he'll have a few good deals.

I check with Joe's outfit at least once a week and he has one gun currently offered that we have discussed. His prices are generally somewhat inflated, but he will deal.

Hi Mike
Have you had decent luck in getting Salter to come down in price? I tried a few times several years ago and he was rock solid on the pricing. Maybe it was the guns I asked him about....

Yesterday I e-mailed them about one of there guns for sale and asked if they were firm on the price. their responce was that All prices were firm and if I wanted it to click on the buy now link. I think everything they have is usually high, but they don't care as If ya can't afford it dont buy.Jim.

He has a buggered 1896 that is definitely a "fixer", yet he is firm on his price at this time. It is still a few hundred buck above what it should be.

I've dealt with Joe a couple times over the past few years (he has a shop in Canada too). Great guy to talk to, but he does not budge on his prices.
