Great bikes! 39,000 miles, hardly broken in yet. Looks to be in great cond. Is a good solution to high gas prices in the summer. The camaro in the background looks pretty nice also. More details on it? Good luck with both.

Les Good work. That is a great upgrade. The sights on a Browning SRC are in my opinion useless (And I can still see to use open sights :)). My Marlin .375 is very accurate with my handload using sierra 200 grainers or the 200 grn factory load. The 220 hornadys shoot better in my Win BB.375 then they do in the Marlin, but certainly shoot well enough for hunting.

I bought a Rem TI in 7-08 and mounted a leupold VX1 2-7 on it. I confess to carrying it more then a few times deer hunting this year. It's as light all up (scope, loaded) as a peep sighted 336 or win 94. I carried my levers more though, not that it made a difference as I got skunked this year. :x Karl

I pretty much dress as you do. Wool jacket that would match your pants, and grey wool pants. I was kinda surprised to see the comments on your attire, as in the northeast here you wouldn't even get a second glance. Your deer is upside down though. Congrats on your success.

Nice Toyota! I have a Browning just like yours. It may be my most accurate levergun. Person before me had it D+T for a receiver sight. Do you plan to install 1 on yours? The condition of the rifle in that last picture would sure be the time to do it. Good luck with the rifle.

I was also frustated at gunsmithing services so I D+T my 8 mm mauser for a peep, then I did my Win (miroku) mod 92 for a peep. No problems. If I decide to keep my Browning SRC that will be the next rifle under the drill press. Take your time and you'll have no problems.

I alway's figured the 30-30 was more popular here (northeast) because people were only deer hunting and and maybe black bear the 30-30 are probably more effective. However I think the 25-35 is probably a better ranch or have it with you all the time rifle which to me seem's more "out west"...

As you would sight the rifle to shoot it drive the sight out left to right. A brass drift punch works good or even a spent cartridge, hitting the base of cartridge. I have put a piece of cloth between sight and punch and be careful not to hit barrel. Hope this helps.
