I went to the NRA museum in VA this past spring. He donated a bunch of firearms from his movies to them. I like all his westerns-wish he made more.

Re: Hunting turkey with my 25-20s.
Wish I could hunt turkeys with a rifle once. Looks like a great combo you have. Got a 22 lb bird on Fri. Going in the frier this week-can't wait. My brother lives in Tx. Seems he is overseas or somewhere else during turkey season. A Rio would look real nice next to my Easterns and Merriams. Good luc...

Re: Spring in Marinette County Wisconsin, the deer are moving
NICE!! I have 80 acres in Marinette County and now I know where the deer went to. I saw 2 does last year (bowhunting, rifle and muzzleloader). 3 deer the year before . Crop damage permits hit us hard by me. It ain't like that everywhere!! Good news is I have alot of turkeys.

I like the 45 colt. Lower pressures and easier on the ears(and guns). You don't need to hop it up unless you like burning powder.

Re: Poll for 1895 fans --- 30-06 or .405 ?
Why not have em both. Got a USRAC TD in 30-06 and an 1886 USRAC Extra Light in 45-70. I would love a TD in 405. Should of bought that one in the classifieds a month ago.

I am waiting for the gunsmith to finish working on my Browning 65. Just ordered Redding dies and picked up 200 45 gr hps from Cabelas. Weather is getting better here. Can't wait to shoot mine.

Re: Providence Tool Co sight
Sounds like you are making a bigger deal out of this than it is. I installed this sight on my USRAC 1895 and it was a piece of cake. If you have questions call the owner at Providence Tool. Nice guy and helpful. You will not regret this sight. http://i616.photobucket.com/albums/tt246/leverlooney/IMG...

Browning 65 218 Bee questions
I just picked up a Browning 65 in 218 Bee. I am looking for some loads and bullet suppliers.
I also want to put a reciever sight on it. Does it take the Lyman 66a or the 66ae(angle eject)?
Thanks
