Funny you should say that because, we are
having a pretty good dought here in central Florida....Our club sits on a
ridge with a bunch of ponds, which are all empty...
All the gobblers seem to be across the road in the
river bottom...First gobble sunday morning was
right across the road in the other lease...I set up near
the road...and every time the bird got close to the road...
a car or truck would go by and push him back in the woods...
that must have happened 5 or 6 time....
Eventually he lost interest in me and went back
to the river bottom...yelling his head off the entire way...
I guess I was just not sexy enough for him that morning...
Otherwise all I have seen are are 2 year olds and jakes...
