Re: New Williams Sight on My Henry .22
Ok I know what you mean now. But what were the part #'s for the front sight? What was the name of key words. I would really like to get one, but have not been able to find one. You really don't need Part Numbers, just give Henry customer service a call and tell them what model rifle (ie. H001) you ...

I also like Sam Elliot a lot-- he did make a couple of westerns with Tom Selleck: The Sacketts and The Shadow Riders (perhaps more).

^%$# it Blaine, Now I wont be able to get one in the crosshairs without thinking of that video! You can work thru it. . . When you get one in the crosshairs, and the video starts to play in your mind, pull the trigger about 1/3 way thru the video; you will not get to the closeup in the final scene....

OT: A Clear & Present Danger
While these camps may well be protected by the US and State Constitutions, I feel these represent a Clear and Present Danger to Americans. http://shock.military.com/Shock/videos.do?displayContent=185279&page=1 The mainstream media does not seen to be very concerned. I am thankful there were thos...

The earliest official policy on the naming of posts and forts is found in War Department General Order Number 11, dated 8 February 1832. The order stated, “All new posts which may be hereafter established, will receive their names from the War Department, and be announced in General Orders from the ...

Re: OT Hey I just read a good book...
I truly enjoy L. L'Amour's books; but my favorite was not a western: Last of The Breed -- something different and a great read. I let friends read my copy-- friends that said they would never read a "cowboy book"-- and they became fans of the writer (and so cowboy stories) because the like...

Re: Reproduction Model 92s by Rossi
Having used both now, I DEFINATELY prefer the reciever sight. Don't care how it looks. Oh, I have no doubt the reciever sight is the more accurate sight. I was just referring the "period" look . . . but there was not much bead blasted stainless steel found on the originals-- so I guess my...

That tang sight looks great on that bead blasted rifle; a lot better than that Williams (?) on the carbine. I wonder if the tang sight could be electroless nickle plated to look like the bead blasted stainless . . .

Re: "Best" Tang and/or Peep Sight
Thanks for the information / advice. I really do like Tim Skinner's sights, and if I owned a Marlin lever with side eject, I'd for sure get one. But for the top ejection on the "92", I need a tang type to get the front sight near my eye and increase the distance twixt the front and rear si...

"Best" Tang and/or Peep Sight
I recently acquired a new (.357 Mag) Rossi/Puma M92 short rifle (20" octagon barrel); the finish is color case hardened and blue with dark wood. With my aging eyes, I need a new sight-- but I want it to look "right" for the period of the rifle. My criteria for selection is not complic...

Our Constitution still holds that such letters of marque and reprisal are legal. Screw the World Court . . . we still have a few month...
