Sure cure, has never failed. Go to hardware store or other place that sells rat poison in a cake of poisoned grain (warfarin) in a bees wax cake. Find the fresh dug tunnels and bury a piece of the bait in the fresh tunnel areas. The beeswax makes it pretty waterproof and the little buggers bring the...

Thank you for the almost my birthday wishes. I am 60 today and will be 61 tomorrow, but today is not quite my birthday. I consider it my birth about time. But to rid myself of all sorrow, I celebrated my birth time by giving myself a new Winchester 1873 short rifle in .357. I took it out and fed it ...

can you really have too many guns ? I dunno - My friend & fellow gunclub member, who is also an FFL, is in the process of sorting & evaluation 800 ( yes, I said: eight HUNDRED . ! ! ) guns that belonged to a fella that passed away a short while back, and that his widow doesn't quite...

I am sure a data base is being generated in each of the medical pot states where people are still illegal users in the eyes of the Federal Gov. Are they just waiting for this to grow before they decide to lower the boom. The 4473 form specificly excludes any illegal user of pot. In the recreation St...

Nice video. I made mine so I can plug the pot into a receptacle on the PID box. I just turn the pot's therostat all the way up and plug it into my PID device. I have several pots with different alloys and can plug any one of them into my PID. I just need to remember to take my detector out of the po...

Seems Mr. Moose a 300 H&H with a cup and core bullet prompted the Nosler Partion. My choice would be a 250 gn. Swift A frame in 9.3X74R. I have only recovered 1, all the others went through. One shot, two holes.

Re: Question for 'AR Guys' - "pistol vs. rifle"
THIS IS THE WAY IT IS. 1. It should be recorded at the time of purchase as an "other".... 2. If you build it as a pistol, you can change it to a rifle and back again. Think Thompson contender. 3. If you first build it as a rifle it can NEVER be converted to a pistol.... THIS IS THE WAY IT...

Kodachrome, what’s that? Is that like Panatomic X? What are you using to replace the mercury batteries. I have a gossen lunar pro that I need to power. Alkalines are completely unsuitable. Silver oxides are too high of voltage as are lithiums. Zinc air cells don’t last once their seal is peeled off....

Re: Anyone on here into photography?
I thought someone else would have brought this up before, digital is a passing fad, real photographers use film and foul smelling chemicals. Seriously, I bought my first real camera when I started working for a paycheck at age 16. It was a new Nikon FTN. Later traded that for an F2, then traded the ...

My Grandfather moved to Big Falls, MN to work in a hardware store. He had a camera (4X5") and took many photographs around 1904. Somehow a couple dozen negatives survived and this is one of them. The Marlin was purchased at the same time. I still have the Marlin, however it was cut down to a 30...
