I was just going to try some 300 gr. 452 dia. jacketed bullets . My reloading manuals doesn't list any info for that heavy of a bullet and Speer won't let me have the info unless I buy their book. Not fair to spend $25 for bullets and $30 for a book to load them. I usally cast and may never buy tho...

Lostowl05661 you have to read the data, says "Powder Measure Setting". As stated make your own dippers with cases of that caliber, 38 use a 38 case. 45 use a 45 case and so on.

Kirk tihs is the Dell Creek ranch in Bondurant, Wyoming. They still cut hay and feed with horses as do most of the ranchers in the Hoback Canyon south east of Jackson,WY.

Some times its the use that makes powders clean or dirty, if you have a light load with a powder and its real dirty it might be its cleaner if you run with heaver bullets (more pressure). I have two more cents to add, I personnally think the 25 calibers way too small for elk sized game. 6.5 and 7mm also. Buy or have customized the 308, a little bit of weight, a good recoil pad and maybe a leather cheek pad, and she will be able to shoot it just fine. 165 or 180's. I would stay away ...
