Hey guys I just read on another forum, that Remington is working to buy out Marlin Firearms....This could be good, or REALLY BAD...sorta depends on their plans with Marlin.

Hiya Warhawk! I remember you! I love this new little lever gun! It's a hoot to shoot! And yes, I drove up to WF to the Big5 there and got it on sale. Currently they're selling the Puma in all its variations for about 379$. BTW, I was treated VERY well at Big 5. I would be happy to drive up there in ...

Finally got my Marlin .357!
Finally, after searching high & low in the metroplex, I found a great deal on NIB 1894c in .357--took a 3hr drive to get there and another 3 to get home just to buy it, but it was worth it! Nice wood on the rifle, decent fit 'n finish overall, and a sweet shooter! DH thinks the rear sight needs ...

Price & quality check question
I am in the hunt for a Marlin or Rossi lever in .357mag. I have currently located a Marlin 1894C for $350 NIB, or a Rossi M92, brass receiver one for $395. I am looking for comments on quality and durability. The Marlin is from a bigbox store (Big5 sports). The Rossi is also NIB but at a nearby guns...
