You bunch of old fanny burbs!
35!
First rifle is a 94 30-30. Last rifle I bought was a semi deluxe '92.
Not too many of us young blokes into the good old stuff. I was born in the wrong bloody time.

You should see the fine they gave me for running open headers on the Cleveland in my 66 mustang. Too loud they said but but but. Sure it wasn't a Windsor? A Cleveland is too wide for the shock towers on a '65 and '66 without modifying the towers. From 67 and up a Cleveland will fit. I have a Boss 3...

Great pictures! Went to your country on a family holiday in 1997 as a kid. We went to the NAS ocenia airshow at Virginia Beach, was really good. The Blue Angles flew there too. Several years ago some one posted several pages of the polishing room dates. I did save them so I will see if I can find them to post. I reckon a bunch here saved them too. It is a well balanced rifle and with that shotgun stock with the fluted comb, it does look good.
I have one. Made by Winchester in 1928 in the very hard to find 44WCF.

Looking at the tang and top barrel flat, it has clearly had a lot of hard use. The serial number has been partially removed as the other markings have from hard use. It would have a few stories no doubt. Do you know any of the history? If you really want to know the serial number you could try the a...

Good looking 94. I have a similar looking flat band in 30WCF from 1946. Yours also has the receiver sight holes, a Lyman would suit it well if you are not a fan of the standard buckhorn. Let us know how she shoots!

I paid over 2k here in Aus for mine. It's 40-65 from 1888 and just a little better nick than the one in your link. I don't regret buying it.
They are hard to find, especially here in Australia.
I'd say it' a good deal but clear pics would help with your answer.

You also have a flat band there, the front barrel band. I have a beautiful flat band carbine in 30wcf from 1946. The flat band carbines command a small premium and we're made from the mid 40s to early 50s I believe. Good luck with the project!

These Turkish shotties have been the big debate down here amongst the liberal left since they came in a few months back.
The ill informed knee jerk reactive politicians that oppose it have no idea about one that has been in existence since 1887.....and that has been legal and never banned here.
