All current manufacture single action Rugers have moved the billboard to the bottom of the barrel and in a smaller print, too (IIRC). Happened about a year ago, I think. A nice change of pace, in my opinion. Saves me the work of filing the warning label off!

I've been looking for a replacement front sight which is a little easier to pick up in low light. I have a Lyman 66LA for a rear ghost ring/peep. How'd the .550 front blade on the 1894C work out for elevation? Were you able to keep the rear peep sight close to the receiver with that blade height and...
