I have a 1941 that I thought was unfired until I looked at it closer. The blueing and stock look really nice. The owner let me have it for $320 about three years ago.My 1950 that I bought used in 1958 looks almost as good, I reckon the way they finished them then was just alot nicer.

I have a 1917 92 round barrel rifle 32-20. I bought it in 1954 and it's my favorite rifle. If the barrel and action are good and you like it you will sure enjoy loading and shooting it. The 32-20 is a great cartridge and capable of alot.

Get one by all means they are geat carbines. My grandson has a Marlin 1894 .357,and I have a Rossi 92 .357 that is real sweet, fun to shoot, and cheap to feed.

The Rossi 92 .38special/.357 would give you the best of both needs,.38's are cheaper to use for plinking and target work and even .38+P rounds would work for SD and the .357 is a proven deer round. agent00,welcome to the forum and don't forget to look at the Rossi 92. It is a copy of the Winchester 1892 levergun.A .357 would be a good choice, you can shoot .38 special and .357 both in it.
