To all those who thought of & prayed for my mother in law Irene McCarthy & us the past couple weeks.
She passed away a few minutes ago. My wife & her brother were at her bedside. She's with God in a much better place.
we all thank you.

Deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family. MY Mom died in my arms and the last thing she did before she exhaled her last breath was open her eyes to look into mine and smile her last smile. I part of me died that day but I am so glad I was able to be there at that moment. Like my Mom your MIL passed on surrounded by loved ones. I hope you have peace with that, my prayers for peace and comfort continue.

We're with you as well. My wife's mother, who was successfully fighting cancer, recently passed away due to complications of the cure.
Even at these times, God is good. We see him at every turn.

Ken, your wifes family is blessed that they had you in their midst helping out in every way. You helped your wife and others in your family more than you might imagine, thanks for sharing all this with us, and we sure do take your sorrow to heart and hope for your reasonable fast recovery from the pain of all this.

It always seems as if the departing take part of your soul with them, but after awhile you realize they left part of theirs with you. A fair trade, as long as they got to live a full life themselves. Still, we miss them dearly.

Try to always remember..... our loved ones were here to be able to share something special with us. We can only think of that as a good thing... no matter for how long that may have been.
We are responsible for leaving the same legacy of freedom and rights given to us for our children and grandchildren.
