A healthy dose of Locktite has kept the safety in the off position quite well on mine.

Re: Win 94 under carrier jam- inevitable?

Thanks gentlemen. I will first try to find a competent smith to weld and re-contour. That way I will know that the resulting metal is hard. A new part might be just as soft as the original. I don't want to do this twice.

Win 94 under carrier jam- inevitable?

I have a big bore 94 in .444 M. If I purchase and install the new part will it eventually wear down like the original? I have lost confidence in my 94's.

Re: How Smooth Is The Action On Win 88?

Cycling with an empty mag is rougher than when there are rounds. The only "clunky" for mine is when the ejector pops over the rim upon closing. Nothing I have tried yet fits me as good as an 88. When I throw it up to my shoulder (has a scope) it feels like I am wearing it. Points and swing...

My business is carpet & upholstery cleaning. Any enzyme producing bacterial cleaning product will work. Available at janitorial supply stores. Can be used for feces and other nasties too. Saturate the area liberally, cover or wrap with plastic as directed and keep warm. Let it do its work, then ...

Are leveractions overlevers downunder? (Australia)

And since it takes leverage.... are boltactions sidelevers?

What would a boltaction be... downunder?

Re: OT: update son in Africa

We won't get the scoop untill this weekend. I imagine there was not much to enjoy but bringing hope to a village must be fulfilling. I will keep your son in prayer also.

OT update son in Africa

Thanks so much for the responses. Lots of good advice and most of it heeded. Trevor is about to spend his first night in the bush, eleven hours ahead of us. His pastor/leader...turns out is a wilderness outfitter and traveler, so they are well equipped. Accompanying them will be a government officia...

O.T. Son headed for Africa

I visit this site daily and consider it ...Cyber home. Yet rarely posting I am virtually unknown. However my son is headed for Sudan in less than a month (Church related) and has asked me to research what he can take with him. Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated. I know a lot of you ha...

I would think that that his hands and face should be
really tan. Not the forehead as it was covered. This
guy is just too pale.
