driving tip?

My wife got caught in a blizzard and remembered what her Dad told her. "Wait for a plow truck to come, then follow it." She did just that... and eventually a plow truck came and she followed it. After 45 minutes of following it the truck stopped and the driver came back to ask her what she...

Happy happy and a merry merry. I just turned 59 today and feel not a day over it. Of course the day is not over yet. My health is good, family also in good health and I have more work than I can deal with so I guess everything is good. I am seriously thinking of retiring next year but I haven't quit...

Re: Need help with Winchester94AE issue

Will it not lift the last round up because the end of the bullet is still in the mag tube? If so I would think a complete dismantling of the mag tube and a good scrubbing is in order. Could be crud not letting the mag plug come to the end of the tube to push the last round clear of the tube. Pics of...

If it is not an issue to remove the scope then have at it and enjoy. I am also thinking of a simple break open in 20 ga for a kicking around gun. I have a single 410, but prefer the 20.

Re: 20 Gauge why did I wait?

I have shot a lot of grouse with my 20 ga. It was my Dad's a Remington 870, 26" modified choked barrel. I take it the the barrel you have now is a rifled barrel and would not shoot shot very well. Can you get a smooth bore barrel for it? If not keep your eyes open for a good used 20 ga of your ...

Nice collection. It I don't see any win mod 94 in 30-30 or any Savage 99 in any caliber. Just my opinion, but every collection needs at least 1 model 99. Who says we are enablers ?

Shouldn't be any worse than shooting 38spl in 357 mag. Just clean your chamber well after shooting a lot of them. You could also just seat them deeper and use a Lee factory crimp die. You don't need a crimp groove with that arrangement. Also remember your rifle is now a 2 shot rifle due to pointy pr...
