Re: Price check Marlin 1895 40-82

That price is between 50% and 60% going by the blue book, but I haven't been out pricing something like that. This guy was asking about $1900: http://www.gunsamerica.com/classifieds/items/_976998055.aspx Here's one that was about $1800: http://www.gunsamerica.com/916843899/Guns/Rifles/Marlin-Rifles/...

Re: Man Card In Question...

Been hooked on British TV since I watched Monty Python reruns as a kid.

Black Adder, Mr. Bean, Dr. Who and Top Gear also figure in there.

Can't say you're going to lose a man card for watching any show, but you might want to clean a gun while you watch, just in case.

Re: Magazine tube stuck - Winchester 94 pre-64

Well, with my confidence restored by the good people on here that it *should* come out, I put the mag tube into the padded vice jaws, tightened it down as much as I dared, and used the receiver as my enhanced grip for wiggling and pulling. Re: Magazine tube stuck - Winchester 94 pre-64

I added some pictures. http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/uu96/odfox/Win94StuckTube2.jpg http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/uu96/odfox/Win94StuckTube.jpg Thank you all for readi...

Re: Magazine tube stuck - Winchester 94 pre-64

Yes sir, all the magazine internals have been removed, front band is loose, rear band is loose, and the forend is sliding up and down the tube. I am perplexed, myself. I'm almost worried about continuing to try. If I skip it and move on to breaking down the action, is there something I can hammer wi...

Magazine tube stuck - Winchester 94 pre-64

Hello all, First, I'm the proud owner of a Marlin 39a (golden trigger, straight grip, ~20" barrel, but not yet marked Mountie on the barrel) and a pre-64 Winchester 94. Just recently got into lever guns, and frankly, after taking both to the range, I can't understand why it took me this long to...
