Your welcome. Sorry if it came off as me trying to dissuade you from your plan of forming cases. I form cases for several different cartridges and when I don't need to form brass I don't anymore. I prefer to spend the extra time at the casting bench.

I have a CZ 452 and have shot a 550 Magnum on several occasions. While not much of a bolt gun man they are wonderful rifles. Both are great shooting rifles and the 6.5 Swede makes a bolt gun worthwhile. I'd grab it. Worst case you'll be able sell it without much, if any, loss.

Yup, usually the blemishes are just discolored areas on the jacket, not even real corrosion. I did buy some .458" 300gr HP Sierras marked as blemished that had minor deformities on the rim of the HP cavity. Still looked/shot better than the comparable Remington bullet.

700X is pretty fast for cast in the '06 unless you're looking for gallery loads. I've used 6.5gr of 700X with Ed Harris' 160gr. bullet, gave 1150-1200fps and 2.75" at 100 yards according to my notes. I didn't record my sight dope though. Eric PS I really like it for handgun loads so it is alway...
