Sad to say I'm down to one levergun these days. Had to sell off my BB94 when I realized I couldn't cook it any way that the kids would eat it. Still have my Marlin 56, though. Ironically, these days I think .375 Win. ammo is probably easier to get than .22 stuff, though.

Sounds like the headspace may be a tad too large or a long cut chamber. Are the primers also backing out (or, is that what you meant by "bulging")?

I see Cabela's is on top of their game, as usual: That's a Light Sporter, not a Tropical.

The Tropical models are for heavy-lifting, and the smallest Tropical is in .375 H&H.

Despite their record of the last 70 years, the French military has a strong record of valiant and effective service to France. Well, it wasn't "darn", but the forum software changed what I had typed.

Also, I had it backwards: Forrest stabbed and killed a subordinate with a pen knife after he had shot Forrest. Had something to do with an argument over some lost artillery pieces, I believe.
