Re: Rapid mid-shooting levergun loading/topoff
we grew up shooting left handed in a right handed world. Even the military tried to get me to shoot right handed. But when I had shown them I could hit left handed they left me alone. Only problem I had with the M-1, M-14, and M-16, was the brass would hit me on the back right between the shoulder b...

Re: Old Caliber Gets A New Look
In my younger days, I was stationed in Kodiak, Alaska, home of the Kodiak Brown Bear, which according to zoologist is an oversize grizzly. Just having a 45-70 Marlin, with 5 rounds in the mag, and one in the chamber made me feel better. Tripping over the mountains and thru the alder brush, and seein...

I though his accident involved the original 1860 style Henry rifle, and he was just dumping in the cartridges, and it went off when the nose of one cartridge hit the primer of another cartridge. since that mag tube is open he had a problem

My granddad taught my brother and I to shoot using a Remington semi auto 22 and it had that type of loading system, and many years ago I had a savage model 6 and it also had that type of loading system. I am a little confused guys. Every one I see on here says 45-70 factory loads can be fired in a new 1886 45-90. I would assume that would also include the factory loads for Buffalo Bore, GARRETT, and all the really powerful 45-70 hunting dangerous game bullets. Every thing I read on them says they a...

Does anyone convert the magazine tubes on ROSSI R 92s to the style like Henry does? It seems to be a safer system especially for unloading. I know, I grew up with Winchesters and Marlins, and we always had to unload cycling the rounds thru the chamber. I am 73, and have never had a problem, but it j...

I will keep shooting them and see what happens.
