on a serious note. it is ashame he thinks so little of his wife that he treats her like a child, and then believes his words or so final that she should never question them. he needs to be lucky he has a wife.

No, she should throw him down on the concrete. Remember it is not the guns fault. Guns don't act stupid, people do. Nice way to screw up a person from being able to learn to use a tool that may someday save their life.

The whole thing looks staged to me. What woman would just sit there and look at a gun like that for 5 minutes while the husband got his dumb idea, found the camera and firecrackers, narrated the story, then walked around the house to sneak up behind her? And she's still sitting there turning the gun around examining it from every angle. I don't buy it.

It looks staged. The camera is too perfectly set up and as you say, it would have taken 10 or 15 minutes to pull all of this together. No one is going to be looking at a gun like that for that much time. The firecrackers could still startle you even if you knew it was going to happen.

I still say it is stupid and irresponsible even if it is staged. It is stupidity like this that gives similar ideas to someone to try to emulate what they think is funny. Unfortunately stupid is contagious.
