If I had a ton of money I'd get this gun...

.
I have their 'stripped down basic' Model 89, and it is a super-tough, well-made, beautiful and traditional-looking levergun in 500 S&W.

Never really 'needed' any takedown-type firearms, but they're just cool.
Don't really 'need' a suppressor on a hunting gun, but kinda nice to be able to in case.
And I don't really 'need' any attachments for a light or other ornaments on a hunting levergun...
...although I DEFINITELY prefer having a 'rail' or other way to put on a light and laser for a 'ranch' use levergun.

But 'need' isn't really why most of us choose firearms we want to own, anyway... :D

I saw the ad and looked into the Suppressors. There still pricy, but the non BMG works on 458, 475, 500, and 510, so you could swap it around if you have a few different calibers. I have a 500S&W, 475, and 454. It would probably help some on a 454 as well.

I don't need one this expensive for what it does. I like the concept and converted a couple of less expensive rifles to fill this role. For nocturnal predators in an area where the KARENS from Kalifornia call 911 for every gunshot they hear. A .44 Mag shooting .44 SPLs suppressed is VERY quiet.

I likes this one myself ----

But being a tad recoil averse, i would have to tailor each load to suit my fragile shoulders

That AR500 is interesting --- compared to the lever gun prices, they are practically giving those away ! (JK - still pretty high but no more than any number of off the rack designer AR's)

Me too (old and grouchy) - I do like the looks of this particular 'tactical' levergun though.

Ever though it is UGLY, it would be useful in areas where bears raid your homestead. I would go with Paladin's idea. Cheaper, not as ugly, and probably kicks less. I don't have anything bigger than coyotes around me. At least, four footed. Two footed have not bothered us since my drug dealing neighbor moved out 20 years ago.
