So - we arrest Maduro and bring him to the US....?!?!?!

Post by AJMD429 »

.
This seems to be unprecedented....arresting a nation's "leader" (even a nasty one who got there via election-fraud) is something I've never heard of before.

Talk about 'regime change'...!!!

I worry the Southern District New York court will throw the case out just to screw with Trump, and I worry that a 'revenge' terrorist event will now happen on US soil, and Trump will be blamed, along with the Republicans in general. Not that I doubt a terrorist event would be upcoming anyway, as soon as some Muslim or other terrorist gets the right equipment and opportunity.

It seems like there are dozens, if not hundreds, of US POLITICIANS who are a FAR greater threat to the US than Maduro, and I'd like to see ALL of them in jail at this point.

GHW Bush did the same thing in 1989. Captured Noriega in Panama and tried and convicted him in the USA.

Maduro just realized Trump means what he says.

It's SOP for the FBI to leave the large illegal drug warehouses in the US alone, because trying
to take them down results in big, nasty, firefights. I'd bet A LOT of money that there
are more drugs in those illegal warehouses in the US then there are in all of Venezuela.

Just so happens that Venezuela has the largest known reserves of oil on the planet.
(And their whole crude oil business is nationalized, so off-limits to most foreign companies.)

Saddam Hussein's Iraq just happened to have some of the cheapest oil in the mideast.
(About $15 a barrel from the well to the tanker; all inclusive.)

No relationship between the oil and those invasions. Nope.
Nothin' to see there - move along.

President Donald Trump insisted the U.S. government would “run the country” at least temporarily and would tap Venezuela’s vast oil reserves to sell “large amounts” to other countries.[/quote

BINGO!!!

Headline from the local paper today........

Does Trump really care about 2nd tier cocaine trafficking?

Nah, not really...

Does he and Wall Street care about controlling the largest oil reserves on the planet?!

Oh, yeah......

So... it's better for Russia and China to control it? Get real...

And don't forget Clinton's invasion of Haiti in 1994 to reinstate Aristide, halting the influx of Haitian refugees to the US. And nearly countless interventions in central and South America during the early 20th century. It is nothing new...

All/most those petro-companies were stolen from the USA. I'd opine that reclaiming them is perfectly legal.
