But in an interview of Ian Carroll by Tucker Carlson, I heard tonight they were saying the Las Vegas shooter's room was full of AR's and yet there were a bunch of AK magazines in the photographs.

I always had the feeling that the room was just set up as an anti-gun photo-op anyway. Nobody intent on a mass-shooting would bother sneaking in 30 guns when they were the only shooter; they might have a spare or two, but would be far more likely to have tons of ammunition loaded in magazines and just 2 or 3 guns. Plus if they had scarier-looking AK magazines (they are curvier) along with AR's (the gun they really want to ban), it smells more of a photo-op than a true crime-scene.
I didn't know AK magazines worked in AR's.....
