Most of my reloading stuff is in storage as I am poised to move yet again, but I just had to put up a few rounds of .44 WCF for the 73. The cheap Lee press on a piece of plywood to which I added an extension that hooks over the pergola shelf has me in business, and this afternoon the wind died enough to safely use the trusty RCBS 10-10: 17 grains of 5744 under a 205-grain 1:20 boolit in Starline brass ought to go bang, I think.
.
I know guys who take a little setup like that to their local shooting range and reload-on-the-fly working up loads, etc.
Good luck with the move.... I moved eleven times in thirteen years (all dorms and apartments during my extended college-life), and NEVER want to move again...!

I have moved 4 times in my life! Hope to never move again unless it is to assisted living which at this time is not on the horizon! Your a better man than I Bill !!
Gettin old ain't for sissies!
There just has to be dogs in heaven !
Having moved all of reloading stuff and a literal ton of bullet alloy across the country a couple of times you have all of my best wishes and sore back sympathy. Ton of work. I hope the move is to a fun place and that it's the last for you!
It's not as hot in summer or windy in spring over near Silver, either. That said, I did look at a fixer in dear old Tularosa. My ancestors rode by wagon and horse from Buffalo Gap, Texas, to La Luz in 1884, and a great-great aunt married one Tobe Tipton, in whose Tularosa bar on Granado Street in the late 1890s was played a two-day poker game by Albert Fall (think Teapot Dome), George Curry, (future governor), Tobe, Oliver Lee -- armed, and Pat Garrett -- armed. Lee won, and no one was shot.
My Dad built a folding reloading bench that you could fold up and put in the trunk of your car easily. It was strong enough that you could full-length size .30-06 ... mounted a Rockchucker on it. He sometimes took it out where we shot and worked up loads right on the range.

Dave, hoping to find my last hideout in Grant County.
Coming back to Oregon Bill, or another Grant County?
Have you watched the news here lately? Curry and Grant counties both getting flooding and Curry County got 5"-9" of rain in just a couple days Sun.-Mon.! We had a couple inches of hail yesterday at my place! Trapped me in the shop when it began, and I didn't want to try a run to the house until it stopped!
Haven't spent nearly as much time on that side of the state, been mostly North. We did take a trip over to Silver City to stay in their haunted hotel. Had some great food at the Buckhorn in Pinos Altos, would love to go back there! Hit the cliff dwellings too. I do love this state, but man I am having trouble with the Kalifornication we're undergoing.
When I was transferred to Ft. Lewis, I made do with a Lee Hand Press until my wife arrived with our household goods. I used the pantry to hold my powder measure and scale, and dies were in the kitchen drawer. We do what we have to do, don't we?

I make do pretty good with a Lee Hand press whenever I have camera gear set up on my reloading bench for BulletMatch pictures.
Me too for 3030 and 222 only your box is more upmarket!
Aloha Bill, best wishes on your move to greener pastures. I started out reloading 45/70 with my dad using a Lyman 310 tong tool for Dad's Trapdoor Springfields. Later on I reloaded using Dad's RCBS Rockchucker, and when I relocated to Maui for my new job I got a LEE Handpress. That worked fine for 12 years, then after my father's passing I had to moved back to the old homestead to maintain and refurbish the place. I inherited his Rockchucker press, and was gifted a LEE Turret Press from my brother-in-law who had lost interest in reloading, and had moved to Florida. I created a man-cave in the corner of my garage, and set up my 2 presses in there. This is where I reloaded ammo for the Great Leverguns Safari of 2008. After 10 year at the old homestead it came time to sell the place, and divvy up the pie between me and my 5 siblings. It was kind of depressing because my siblings refused to let me buy them out, so in a moment of temporary insanity I gave away both of the reloading presses knowing my new smaller home had no place to mount these presses. After a couple years here at my new home I decided I needed a bench press, and get back into reloading. I still had most of my dies, and loading components. I also still had my old LEE Handpress. I already owned a Black & Decker Workmate folding workbench, so I purchased a single stage LEE 90045 reloading press like your's, and mounted it on the Workmate bench. The workbench is surprisingly solid, and I just fold it up, when not in use. I really like these LEE reloading presses, more than enough for my needs in these twilight years as I try to enjoy retirement.

No more Oregon for me, Vall. The Libs have destroyed it. Grant County, New Mexico.
My older sis and her hubby after over 60 years in California decided they are fed up with the politics there, and are selling their place and moving out of the State. Guess where. Yup, to Oregon. I told my brother who informed me of this that Oregon or Washington are not much better than California. Sis will learn the hard way.

I grew up in Beaverton, Bill. Same house for 18 years. Back then, we had some of the best gun laws around, and I thought I'd retire there after the Army. Now, you couldn't pay me to live back there. Idaho or Utah is the furthest west I'll ever go again.

Yep, we have us some corruption, Santa Fe Ring is still chugging along. Much like my native Eastern Oregon, folks around here don't pay much attention to what the crooked politicians have to say. There's an awful lot of desert out there...........
