Site issues?

Post by Bill in Oregon »

This one has been slow to load -- and wouldn't load at all for a while this morning here at my house. Anyone else had sketchy service lately?

Seems fine up here in the Orygone. Maybe it's a regional bias issue?

Me too. Didn't have any idea "who to call" so just waited it out.

My hat is off to Andy Larsson, Paul Moreland and Jim T. for working to bring the site back up after it was shut down for what may be suspicious reasons.

Thank you but I did not do anything other than forward some messages. Andy and Paul and David Fagan did all the work!

It stopped working totally Sunday, and today is the first time it opened up when I tried my link. I then had to log back in which I never have to do. I figured the site got hacked, or they were doing upgrades.

Don't forget David Fagan. He actually does the heavy lifting while we stand around poking things with sticks.

Apparently there was a Denial of Service attack that caused issues with everyone on the server. That accounts for the bad connections folks were experiencing a couple days back before they took us off the air. We're working on implementing means of denying denial of service attacks, but at least we're up and running for the present.
