Easy Venison Chili
Decided to try making chili with venison a couple days ago . Googled it and found what sounded easy enough recipe . And tonight I gave it a go . I never cared for chili much until I learned to put sour cream in it . And tonight’s try tastes pretty decent to me !

Ah Yeah, I make Venison Chili often, and I change up often on how I eat it and Sour Cream is great with it. But my favorite use of Venison is in my stew! Haven't had chili with sour cream for a while, believe I'll thaw some burger to fix it next few days!

I’ve got a stew I make also in the crockpot that’s quite nice . My favorite has become blackstrap roast , 2 1/2 minutes on all three sides of the blackstrap in a cast iron skillet with butter and Cajun seasoning . Then put the skillet in the oven for ten minutes on bake at 375 , typically you can cut it with your fork . I made the backstraps from one deer for the 2024 Xmas luncheon and the potlickers that showed up cleaned it all up as well as the Partidge/sausage jambalya I also made .
