This is the first video that came up when I clicked on You Tube just now. Super fine shooting, Vall!

Thanks Walt!
Those were two different loads. The first string was a 400 grain hard cast Snover, and the second the lighter RCBS CSA bullet load. The lighter bullets work well until the winds picked up. The 400 works better in the wind at 650 yds.

We just had our last Happenz as Wind passed 6 years ago, and his sister recently passed, and the U-Pick Sagebrush Ranch is being sold.

I'm very sorry to hear that, Vall. I have watched years of your participation there and I know you've had some awfully good times as well as good friends there. I know you'll miss them all but maybe there's a chance your group will find another location to shoot. I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks Walt! We all feel very blessed to have had the last 15 years there, both with Wind and later his sister. She was like Wind in wanting our annual shoots to keep going after his passing, and very generous to all of us.

Another video Mo posted from our fall shoot. The wind was raising heck with my light 170 grain .32-40 loads. Pushing bullets from almost no drift to up to several feet of drift at times! Good spotters really helped stay on target.

That was neat one of your friends saying hit then a second or two later hearing the ping of hitting the steel .

That's one part of shooting longer distances with old slow cartridges I enjoy the most! The further you shoot, the longer it takes for that ding to confirm a hit. Always puts a smile on everybody's faces.
