Fermin Garza— a recommendation

Post by Scott Tschirhart »

You all probably know that Fermin makes wonderful front sights and i personally have them on several of my revolvers.

But here’s something you may not know.

I picked up an as new Old Model Ruger Blackhawk chambered in .45 Colt/ .45 ACP. The ACP cylinder shot very well but the mouths of the chambers on the .45 Colt cylinder were way too small and they were not uniform in size.

Instead of renting a reamer and doing it myself, I sent the cylinder to Fermin. I’ll never ream another cylinder myself again. Fermin did an excellent job. My groups are cut in half and cleanup was so easy. These chamber mouths are absolutely uniform and smooth with no discernible tool marks.

Same here, he did a .32 Single Six cylinder for me last year on a very quick turnaround. He's interesting to talk with as well, with a wealth of experience in getting sixguns to perform. I do wonder if he ever slows down.
