Ever see a 17 HMR Upper for AR-15...???

Don't need one, nor really want one, but kinda glad someone makes one... :D

AR's are cool though with the versatility. Even the short-action AR-15 (vs AR-10) can support a huge variety of cartridges.

I think betwen 5.56/223, 300 Blackout, and 50 Beowulf, the only other one I really have much use for is a 22 LR.

Having said that, since one of the main reasons to have a lower-power rimfire upper would be 'cheaper practice', it might be that for the first 150 yards the trajectory of the 17 HMR would better replicate what the 'real' 5.56/223 does.

Someone was making a muzzle loader upper. 50 cal- magazine held speed loaders. I tried to find one but cost prohibitive for me at the time.

I saw a feller with a muzzle-loader made from a 1911 - looked quite normal until you pulled the slide back and saw the nipple-ended chamber...!

The Bear Creek outfit makes a 'stretched' AR-15 in 300 Win Mag, which I guess maybe somehow is not the same as an AR-10...???

0.9 MOA with match ammo - https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/202 ... untmaster/ - pretty impressive. Not that I need or want a 300 Win Mag either.

Of all their 'exotic' chamberings I think the 22 WMR would still be the most 'fun' (17 HMR close behind though).

I guess you wouldn't accidentally switch your 223 and 22 WMR bolt carriers...

This company reminds me of Rock Island Armory and their many-caliber 1911's...

How cool would it be for a kid or grandkid getting his first rimfire guns to have a RIA 1911 in 22 WMR, and a MATCHING BCA AR-15 in 22 WMR...

...for that matter, their Grandpaw might enjoy the 'pair' too... :D

Maybe if I save up some dough or do some trades, I could do that by the time my grandkids are shooting, then when they get older and want 'real' 45 ACP and 5.56 NATO guns, I can swap them if I'm still alive and too frail to shoot centerfire guns... 8)

I would like an upper in .40 to go with my G23. I know they are out there, I don't NEED it but I want.
I'm back on my big bore airgun kick now so no spending for AR krap that I really do despise...soulless things that they are.
