Trials - Tribulation - and Troubles

My daughter is a Christmasholic. At the beginning of September she starts looking at Christmas decorations. Usually the day after Thanksgiving the tree is up, lights are being strung and the turkey ain't even cold yet!

This year was worse. A WEEK BEFORE THANKSGIVING she dug out the decorations, put up the tree and trimmed it, hung up stockings and started singing and playing Christmas carols on the piano! I put up a sigh that it was still NOVEMBER! To no avail.

I went up to her sister's in Oklahoma for a couple weeks and when I returned home Wednesday I find this on my door!

I love Christmas (the real reason), but refuse to decorate until after Thanksgiving. Fortunately my wife agrees with me.

My SIL however sets up the tree right after Halloween. :roll:

I believe in the day after Thanksgiving before Christmas decorations go up. That's when I set up the inflatable Santa in the outhouse :lol:

Sadly it seems like every year Lowe's and Home Depot start setting up the Christmas stuff earlier and earlier.

All about the almighty $$$$ nowadays
