Long lost siblings reunited after 130+ years
Posted this on another forum awhile back but now that I have CRS syndrome (Can't Remember Squat) I forgot to post where it really belongs, on this forum.
Picked up these lettered Winchesters awhile back, the 1873 in 2008 and the 1876 Model five years later in summer 2013. Last year I looked closely at both letters and noticed these 2 were in the warehouse together the night of November 7, 1882! After 131 years they finally were back under the same roof in 2013. Thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share it here , hope you enjoy. Click on photo to enlarge And here are the letters: Should add the wood on the 1876 is replaced.

They both look like they faired well after all those years apart ....

Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.

Thanks to all. Bill, they are not old tang sights....modern ones until I can find a reasonably priced original.
