Good reason to stay strapped

Post by Scott Tschirhart »

I’m not too far from the border here and the train tracks run adjacent to our ranch.

Down the road from the ranch 10 illegals bailed off the train and tried to carjack a local rancher. This happened last week. He was able to drive off but they swarmed his truck and they shot at him as he drove away. So the illegals had a gun.

The police were called in Lacoste and they stopped the train there. All ten bailed out of the train and ran off in different directions and they didn’t catch any of them.

Happy he was able to defend himself. This shouldn't be happening. Best to go heeled at all times.

.
That’s the most efficient way to get more Democrat voters; illegals are fleeing socialism, but 90% of them will vote FOR socialism, and probably most will vote several times, in many cases without going to the poles, or for that matter, even knowing they voted.

That’s how the Democrats operate.

Plus since we count illegals as ‘population’ for allocating representatives, the Democrat districts where they usually wind up will get more representatives, as well.

My father, who has been anti-pistol for 60 years is now thinking about carrying one.

He used to tell me that “pistols were only good for killing people.” I remember a conversation years ago where I agreed with him and added that it is also unfortunately true that there are people who need killing.

I’ve carried a pistol almost every day since I joined the police department in 1983. Dad has over the years come to accept this. But we haven’t faced a threat like this in this area for more than 100 years. Violence has come to rural areas in South Texas. Some people I know have hunting properties along the border and they are afraid to go on their own property.

I'd be totin a 30-30 as well. It's very unsettling when You have to look over Your shoulder everyday. If it's a cold winter in the north this year , things in the big cities will really be fun . all the illegals will be freezing out in the cold and the democrat mayors will then have a much bigger problem than they do now.

I’m afraid we may have other issues as well. But yes, I’m carrying a rifle around too.

Hate to say it, but being surrounded by 10 is a situation something with a big detachable box magazine would be good for. That said, a magazine full of 30/30 would still make ‘‘em scatter unless they were all armed, one would think —- if one were well practiced at manipulating a lever gun from inside a vehicle

Ya never know

in case this seems extreme there are videos of criminals carrying these . . . and of course the hammas arm of the democrat party criminals are aware of these. this makes sense because there are well-made magazines in standard and reduced capacity magazines. they are pistols and so far are legal to carry in car in WA, they hang invisible from a single point sling under a pancho, and they won't be the first one to run out of ammo if the user takes a second to aim fire.

the pillow and the flash "hider" come off easily, and it's an easy shooting firearm. this is what I think the proper response to the demohamass's policies and ensuing crime wave demand.
.
here are the stats: according to the fibs, er fbi, WA is as dangerous as Gaza . . .

naturally the hamass arm of the local crime bosses blames the police rather than admitting their own blood lust policies. but we can see that.

My late dad was always the same about carrying or even a need to own a handgun. He didn't see a need to, and questioned my need to also. Then after years of not owning a handgun he one day mentioned he was tired of taking a rifle along in their camp trailer when they went camping!
I of course was smiling inside, but asked him if he would like to borrow a revolver I could spare for as long as he needed one? He quickly took me up on the offer, and I gave him a Model 10 S&W .38 Special. He kept it under the mattress every time they went camping, and eventually my mom told me he kept it under the mattress at home also!
Years later after my mom passed, and we moved dad in with us, he handed me the S&W and said he didn't need it anymore since he knew we were protected, and he wanted to make sure it got returned to me.
Along this same line of thought. My oldest daughter grew up shooting, just as all my kids did. But after college she went to work at the DA's office as a victim's advocate, and saw far too much violence. She said she wasn't antigun, but didn't want any guns. Then after 18 yrs. she quit and in January she started a new job with the Federal Govt. She told us last month she'd taken her concealed carry class and had bought a new Glock 9mm to carry! We feel much better now!

good stuff. someone I know knows someone who clerked in a sheriff's office and said all they did at that office is issue and renew carry permits. the entire office staff was inundated daily with new applications. the waiting time for renewal can be 2 months. now I want to see a check box that says Yes, I want to be included in the Sheriff's Deputies squad . . .

The people doing CCL here in my county are all retired officers. They work part time as nobody wants a full 40 hr. week job after retiring. It takes no time to do a renewal here as it's done online, but it takes a good two months to get the license, so have to be sure to renew a couple months early as it's illegal to carry with just a receipt showing you renewed.
