If I were doing the schuetzen stuff I’d be okay loading at the range during the match as was done in the heyday of schuetzen . But dealing with that artillery piece I don’t wanna be doing it with all the stuff that’s going on around this guy .

I thought about buying 20Ga brass and muzzle loading them in the field. IDK Why. Cheaper than buying a muzzle loader I suppose.

I have a Lyman "Spartan" press mounted on piece of ¾" Marine plywood and clamped onto a WorkMate work surface/vice that can travel to the range with me when I want to develop loads for a specific cartridge. I've used it at the range to develop loads for my 7mmRemMag, .32-40, .30-06 Garand, .45-70 in the 1886 and my .40-90 Sharps. I just have to pick a fairly calm day, as pretty much any breeze can wreak havoc with the balance beam powder scale. It's nice to have immediate feedback from any load density changes. But, yes, a 37mm cannon would be hoot! But... I can see the neighbors getting concerned...
