Hey guys! Finally got here again. Summer is flying by fast. Can't believe I start school again in less than a month.
Heres my next set of pictures:
Do you like them?
Dad bought the M1 and M1 carbine from my great uncle - his uncle - who fought in world war 2. Theese weren't the ones he used, but ones he bought later. I really enjoy shooting the M1 carbine, but I haven't fired the M1 Garrand yet. I hope to soon!!!

Boy Wonder is in bed (which, at 10 minutes till midnight, is where I should be!). I'll take a look for him and let you know. I mounted this on the carbine for him a while back - I think it might be a BSA, but I don't recall off the top of my head.
Just remembered I had the paperwork in my office - I try to keep everything about a gun including accessories in one place, and I have all of Gannon's gun stuff in a single binder. I purchased it from "Centerfire Systems" back in October of 2002. Get this - it was only $16.97! Heck the mount was twice that if I recall correctly!!! It is a "compact 4 x 28 fixed" with a 1" diameter tube. The instructions that came with it don't mention the manufacturer, so I suspect it was made in China (it is marked "SM4x28"). For as inexpensive as it was, it puts them all in one ragged hole (an entire magazine) at 50-feet with ease (the limit of our range for right now).
Great combo, Won my first rifle match with a Grand a long time ago. When I get back I’ll look to see if I still have the TMs for the Grand I was issued and if I do I will send them to you. (I traded my Grand which cost $121.00 from DCM and got a FN 49 in 30-06 to replace it).
Very nice YK's K! Those are both very nice, especially with the family history. When I was about 12, I was given an M-1 Carbine from WWII and oh, what times were had with that little gun. Congratulations on those.......

Cool The reason I asked is I have one that looks a whole lot like it on my H&R it is a NCStar 4x28 with a 1" tube so they are more then likley from the same people. Midway had them for $19 it has held up well on my 308W. Does it have the rangeing reticle?
here is the one I have

I'm willing to bet it is exactly the same scope - just an earlier version of it.
YK K Many moons ago when I was a young Airman stationed in Tucson AZ a friend and I bought a pair on M-1 Carbines. We used to give the Jack Rabbits around Madera Canyon a very bad time.
