Raising Em Right

Post by JK622 »

I know at least a couple of young folks being raised right! My buddy and his girls just finished 2 days of hunting at a place near Vega, Texas. The 15 year old took a big aoudad at 408 yds. The 9 year old took her deer at 397 yards and her aoudad at 448 yds!!! all 3 were 1 shot drt's with a 6mm Creedmore. Those girls are sumthin else!

OK, I forgot to tie it in to leverguns. A few months back I was at the range with the 3 of them and shot some of his long range precision rifles. I let him and the older girl shoot my Marlin 357. After seeing the big grins and hearing the "That's fun!" comments I decided to just give it to him. A few months later he used it to take this hog with 1 shot with a 140gr. Hornady Flex Tip handload. Needless to say they are all "levergunners" now. I've done my part!
