I think I paid well less than 20 for my copy, but several years ago now. I had several guns before I read his book, but probably his book got me to really wanting to own guns, and use them frequently. It's a pretty good read, but 50 bucks seems a little stiff.

Gents,

I wanted to share what I found, in case someone just has to have a copy. Fifty bucks is a little steep for me, too. I will check my local library. They have had a bunch of things that I never thought they would have.

As book prices go now, that isn't a bad price. If a first edition, maybe a great price.

It might be a little high at $49.95, I think my first copy was $19.95, but it was lost to burgler some years ago. So I purchased a copy after reading this thread.

Used on Amazon at $89.00 on up. A new in the wrapper is a very good price.
Why don't I buy it ? I have an autographed one from the man himself and the shipping container it came in.
I guess I am bragging, sorry.

Yes, I had loaned the book to a good friend. He came home to find that his house had been burglarized. He lost a bunch of firearms and ammunition, along with some household goods and this book.
