Need a barreled action color cased and blued

Post by Bill in Oregon »

Anyone have recommendations for color-casing an original rolling block receiver and bluing the Green Mountain barrel? I used an outfit in Montana last time and the job was not quite up to expectations.

There was a fellow in Cody, WY I met last year that seemed quite competent. Will see if I can find his contact info.

I'm shocked that you got less than perfection from Al Springer at Snowy Mountain. I've used Al for many years, and wont use anyone else for color case and rust bluing.
